Mike Knick - Biography

Mike Knick is a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School and the University of Illinois - Urbana, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After college, he worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington D.C., and returned to school to receive his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University in Chicago.

 

Mike joined the Will County State's Attorney’s Office in 1988 as an assistant state’s attorney for the Juvenile Division. Since 1991, Mike has been assigned to the Drug Unit where he was appointed Supervisor by Jim Glasgow in 2004.

State's Attorney Glasgow partners with Illinois State Crime Commission to provide additional law enforcement self-defense training

Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow and the Crime Commission, under the leadership of Executive Director Jerry Elsner, will offer free Martial Arts training to police officers throughout the region.

 

The training will be held from 2:30-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Victory Martial Arts Academy, 15414 70th Court in Orland Park.
